Our terrace has debuted this Summer, and we've loved seeing guests make the most of long afternoons outdoors. Overlooking our beautiful gardens, it's the perfect setting for a leisurely lunch, relaxed evening dinner or drinks in the sunshine. Whether you're catching up with friends or simply soaking up the atmosphere, there's no better place to enjoy summer at The Upper Deck.

A Fresh Menu for the Season

We've recently introduced a brand-new lunch and dinner menu, inspired by the best seasonal ingredients and local produce. Alongside returning favourites, we've added a selection of new dishes that our chefs are especially excited to share.

Our Pick: Tide to Table Seafood Skillet

If there's one dish to try this summer, it's our Tide to Table Seafood Skillet.

Designed for sharing, it brings together butter-poached scallops, king prawns, salmon and clams with langoustines in a white wine and tarragon sauce, finished with samphire and crispy capers. Served with your choice of two sides.

Our new menu has something for everyone. From our locally sourced Monmouthshire Pork Chop and perfectly grilled Tuna Steak to the vibrant Maple Grilled Aubergine, every dish has been created with the season in mind.

To begin, our Heritage Burrata Bruschetta is fresh, light and full of flavour, while our silky Vanilla Panna Cotta is the perfect way to finish your meal.

Our Sunday Roast continues to be one of our favourite traditions, and it's as popular as ever. Gather your family, settle in for the afternoon and enjoy generous plates with all the classic trimmings before taking a stroll through Tintern or along the River Wye.

More Wine Evenings Are Coming

We were delighted by the response to our very first wine tasting evening this year. It was a wonderful evening filled with fantastic wines, delicious food and great company.
