Wine Club Vol. 02: An Evening of Tuscan Wine & Dining at The Royal George
Following the success of our first Wine Club evening, The Royal George is delighted to welcome guests back for Wine Club Vol. 02. Join us for an intimate evening celebrating exceptional Italian wine, thoughtful food pairings and the stories behind every bottle.
On 29th September, join us in the Upper Deck from 6:00pm for an evening dedicated to the wines of I Greppi, a renowned Tuscan estate in Bolgheri, where the influence of the Mediterranean coastline and Tuscan sunshine creates wines of remarkable elegance and character.
A Perfect Pairing
The evening will feature a guided tasting of four exceptional wines from I Greppi, each carefully selected to showcase the estate’s distinctive style and the terroir of Bolgheri.
Alongside the wines, our Executive Chef Gareth Hope has created a bespoke pairing menu, with each plate designed to complement and enhance the character of the wine. From the first pour to the final course, the evening is an opportunity to experience how food and wine can come together to create something greater than the sum of their parts.
The Heritage of Bolgheri
Situated along the Tuscan coast, Bolgheri is celebrated for producing some of Italy’s most distinctive and elegant wines. Here, the combination of sea breezes, abundant sunshine and the region’s unique terroir provides the perfect environment for creating wines with depth, balance and finesse.
Wine Club Vol. 02 invites guests to discover this heritage first-hand, bringing a taste of the Tuscan landscape to the tables of The Royal George.
